replica stickers....

Hey everyone I have a question. We have discussed in forums before that the act of putting certain stickers on your MINI is not a good thing (kinda poserish). I have offered one of the strongest oppositions to the concept, but Now I have a question........Would it be unethical to create a Works Challenge STicker laden MINI S? I would certainly be able to back up the performance, The car would be show AND GO. I am just curious, if the car performs, is this tooooooo tabooooooooo

I still think it's kinda "poserish" as you called it. Unless it's a regular track car.....making a daily driver look like a race car is pretty silly in my opinion. I absolutely love how the challenge cars look, and I can understand the intrigue....i just think its a bit odd to drive one to get to the grocery store or something rather than around a track. If the car isn't a true stripped race car meant for the track(even if it does have some more hp)...dressing it up to look like one would be in fact "posing".

Just my opinion though Maybe you could take SOME of the design elements that you like, like the checker stripe or the wheels or something. Instead of doing the whole thing like the number etc.

RICE= Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancement Just kidding around

Eh, it's your car. It doesn't do any harm to me (or even those little Tibetan children) if you dressed your MINI up the way you want. I, or others, may snigger at some funny looking cars, but in the end, don't really care one way or the other.

Go for it

Oh, so you mean you'll be competitively tracking it? By all means put numbers and stuff on it then. I just thought you meant it was your daily driver.

No way daily driver Could you imagine how odd it would be to see a full on Comp ready MINI at the local supermarket....Not on a Trailer, People may think it was a grand opening or something

Totally agree! But i also kinda agree with the other side of the comment. I mean sometimes when i look at some picxs i just , because it does look a little "poserish".

But you know you should just do what you want to do. I just do what i want to do and if people dont like it... then to bad cuz i do.

If everyone cared about what people thought about them, then there would be no originality, so i say go for it.

Hhaha that's what I was imagining. Pulling into a grocery store parking lot or even the drive-thru at your favorite restaurant all decked out like a race car
