R56 MINI Has To Go
MINI Has To Go
Hi,
The time has come for me to sell my 07 s. I've had it for a little over a year. I'm only selling it because I have a payed off suv that's only 2 yrs old. I tried using the Mini as my daily driver and it didn't work. I'm always moving things and I need room for the dog, I like the space when I go shopping. It has been a tough decision for me because I really love the Mini. I have nothing bad to say about the car and the people on this forum have been helpfull. If Mini came out with a sporty suv I'll be back.

Sorry to hear that you are selling it. At least it is a good time since the has been such a big resurgence in used prices.
My MINI has to go too. And go it does. FAST. What are you hauling? I haul *** everyday and it suits me fine.
I do hear you about the dogs though. I have to Labs and one is geriatric and has trouble getting in. It is pretty tight back there for the two. The other sprints in and leaps into the back.
With all that being said, Don't be like my dad who, in 1975, sold off his black on black 1970 Corvette with T-Tops and a 400 hp V-8
so he could buy a more practical car --- a Pinto Wagon
. To this day he regrests that decision.

You could always hang on to it until the R60/Colorado/MINI SAV comes out, then trade in for the upgrade. The way MINI's hold their value, that might save you a load in the long run, provided you can live with what you have for however long until the SAV comes out (I don't know what the latest rumors are).
I've had a blast with the car. I live in New England and I have a lot of hills, so I like 4 wheel drive. I don't like the clubman, just can't get used to the back end styling. Its a hassle getting the car out of the garage always having to move cars around. I've only put 6,000 miles on it, so its not getting used like it should. I have a large dog who won't jump into it and would have to pick her up to put her in. I need one vehicle that does it all.
