hi all, it has been awhile since i've posted but i have been checking periodically. here is the story, it was time for my first inspection, this comes at 20000 miles. i bought cr mini at east bay mini and have been very pleased with their service, but after reading posts by m7 i decided to travel all the way to long beach for this inspection as well as try to meet peter to discuss all the mentioned perfomance parts he said were coming. so this am i left fresno at 6 am and logged on 248 miles one way. to my surprise m7 showed up at the dealer to introduce himself. after a brief tour of his facilities i was extremely impressed, i saw cars in different states of development. after a long conversation i decided i was willing to have my 2002 cvt cooper upgraded with his plasma piece. here are my first impressions, i filled my tank completely up for comparison purposes, trip there 248 miles, took 7.1 gallons this trip was done in the morning with no ac. trip home,248 miles ac blazing all the way it was 103 degrees all the way home, gas used 6.4, not a bad increase all concidering. the best part was that i noticed a large improvement in accleration and throttle response, this has been the best power improvement i have done. thank you m7.

Based on this recommendation and other data i've read up on, I intend to buy one as soon as funds become available. Was the install easy?

the install was easy, I took pics, and will put together a how to tomorrow (i'm at work now) but all you need is a pair of pliers, and a socketwrench for the battery terminal.

So...if I was to buy this plasma thingy, I could install it myself with no problems, and it would improve my fuel economy?

What does "20 min wait for the ECU to reprogram" mean? Is there an ECU update or does it take 20 min for the ECU to automatically adjust to the Plasma Booster? I just want to understand how this affects a car with a Modified ECU, PowerChips, EVOTECH, etc....

PB instructions say to disconnect the battery for 20 min. prior to install to allow the ECU to reset / not get the ##@@ shocked outta ya.

Oh for cryin' out loud, SOME of us are Microsoft-free, and
can't buy anything from this site due to it's BAD design.
