R53 M7 Challenge Wing

We are much closer to being able to deliver our R53 versiion of the challenge wing so I thought I would start up a seperate thread here. We have been discussing it for a few weeks now over in the R-56 section as that was the first version we completed but as we come nearer to actually have the item for the R-53 it will be best to cover it here. We should be able to deliver the first pieces in 4 to 6 weeks . We will have both fibreglass / aluminum versions as well as the upgraded carbon fiber pieces so a varitey of price points will be covered. Pricing will be posted as soon as it is available. These pictures are of the prototype pieces being test fit yesterday. The next step is the mold maker and then on to production. I will post updates as they become available .

Blame the guys at Mini for the looks LOL . We just made what we were asked to do , a reasonable facsimile of the official Mini Challenge wing as used in the race series. Looks damn close if you ask me but it is their basic design first and foremost.

Nice eye for detail but the hardware shown is only mockup purposes . As a matter if face the entire piece is just final prototype stage. The production units will be even more finished.

Any chance it'll be available in white to match the roof?? I think you'd gain more people with both black and white available.

I know I'd atleast consider one if it were white.

Anything is possible and that is a good suggestion. What you are looking at in our pictures are truly prototype pieces. We will be powder coating where necessary, top line hardware and a variety of configurations and materials. Give us a couple of weeks to set the lineup and we will have a lot more info for you.

Totally off-topic... but what rims are those?
And my vote on the wing is still out. I'd like more pics of the different finishes when you can get to them

I'll put up the details as fast as I get them. I will try and find out which wheels he is running for you as well.

That wing looks absolutly amazing. Yes, it is big but flows perfect with the car. I think two things I really want on the exterior of my Mini is the M7 wing and a M7 front splitter.

Great work.

Great Looking Wing...

...I'm impressed with the style and how the lines match the Mini.

However, looking at the pictures it appears that the design utilizes the factory wing mounting locations. If this is the case, can those two little studs handle all the added stress of the increased surface area?

M7 keep up the great work with the new products.

I like it but it is a bit big. If it was smaller I would be interested.

whats up jeff

The wing is a bit rice, a bit smaller(such as the gp wing) and it would be a whole lot more attractive

Randy: I have a VIS CF rear hatch and was wondering if I would be able to mount this to it. If so, count me in...

If you need a MINI with a white roof to show what the wing looks like in white- let me know. Does it use the factory wing holes?
