2nd Thought....
Well, my 2nd guess was going to be that the picture was taken immediately after Mrs. Bean went for a ride w/ you & we were seeing a greatly stressed-out visual of her!
I am not allowed to "drive" the MINI like I normally do when my wife is in the car....Betsy get's sick...and there will be no vomiting in my car!!!!
Last real spirited drive I went on was the Western Dragon on the way up to MITM last year. That was a blast.

Christine gets sick even driving mountainous roads slowly. She takes a wonder drug called Bonine; it's for motion sickness and it's saved my Motoring life. She can now motor hard, ride on boats and enjoy rollercoasters as she's not done in years. She can even read some in a moving vehicle without getting violently ill. Hooray for Bonine, check it out if you want to get your wife involved.
Her car....

Yes, Mrs. PauHana (Wendy) said many colorful words (that I can't quote here) during the Western Slope Ride, especially going over Red Mtn Pass. And were in her car, the TOYOTA HYBRID, with me (a MINI driver) at the wheel! The MCS was in the shop so we didn't cancel the trip, we just took a different car. So, I think:
You can take the MINI away from the driver, but you can't take the MIINI out of the driver.

We had a similar experience w/ my wifes Ford Escape. We were following my son going across Tulsa, changing Freeways, etc. He had an Audi A4 at the time & was in a hurry. The Escape was in 4 wheel drifts around many curves trying to keep up! We have laughed at the Escapes fine handling ever since!

She likes the MINI well enough, and we use it for date nights and other things, but any long trips through the mountains would make her really sick, she would rather be driving, and I am not sure I am at the point where I could give up the keys to my little toy and ride as a passenger. She drives it on her own, but not with me in the car, I can't stand being a passenger, I WANT TO DRIVE :D
Either that, or it was kismet and fate that my kind of driving met a MINI, and it was love at first fuel-inject.
