Classic Mini Tire Vendors?

I'm looking for suggestions on tire vendors.

I recently purchased a set of 12" wheels (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...245838048&rd=1), and the tires need replacements. The current size is 145/70/12.

I'm aware of MiniMania and Vipernoir. Any other suggestions are appreciated.

Also, will these 12" wheels replace the 10" wheels currently on my car without any modifications? Thanks.

According to Tirerack's website, they don't carry the correct size.

yes the 12's will bolt right on (be sure to have the right lugs for the rims you bought)...depending on tire size, you might have to put flares on if you don't have them on already. As for tires, try www.greatbritishcarparts.com

Thank you! I have flares in place already. Regarding the lugs, how do I know which size to purchase? I noticed several shank sizes on MiniMania.

www.7ent.com sells them as well.

Theres not really that much of a difference between the 165/60/12 and the 145/70/12. It appears theres alot better selection in the 165 size. The 165's are actually closer to the diameter of the 10's you have now. Not that it really matters though cause the old Smiths gauges bounce more than your off by.

Heres a tire size calculator that actually lets you put the 10 inchers into it.

Great stuff! I'm in the process now of figuring out which lug nuts I need. From what I now know, I'm fairly certain the lugs on the 10" wheels will not work with these Rover 12" alloys.

The lugs you need will need a 60 degree taper.....they are plenty out there. the ones I use to have with my minilites (they are similiar to the ones you bought) are available on minimania.com part # NAM9075. Hope this helps.

I decided to go with MiniMania part #CN5 instead of the original Rover lugs. I heard or read something about those original Rover lugs easily losing their chrome caps.

I have heard that Pep Boys can order them as well (I have not confirmed) but the price I was quoted was quite low when compared to the specialty shops.
