I'd like to draw your attention to a new weekend event entitled 'Minis, Mods and Rockers' to be held on the promenade at Fleetwood near Blackpool, Lancashire a small quaint fishing village on the north west coast of England on July 31st - 2nd August 2009.

This unique event is being held to help celebrate 50 years of the Mini, but rather than just being another Mini Rally we've decided to add an extra special twist by making it a sixties extravaganza due to the Mini being a sixties icon with everyone from Twiggy to the Beatles owning one at sometime during the period.
The event will also include classic 60s scooters (Lambretta & Vespa), modern classic cars (only from the 50s and 60s) and VW Camper Vans from the era.
