I finally got my Arizona registration for my 1973 MKIII today ... only 4 months after I bought it from someone in California. I thought it would be a challenge due to the emissions requirement here in Arizona (yes, anything newer than 1966 has to be emissions tested unless you can get an exemption). Well, I got classic auto insurance and that allowed me to get an emissions exemption. It took me 4 months of weekend work to get the little car road driveable, and now I can take pleasure in driving it around.

Anyway, I just wanted to post to say that officially "I've got a Classic".
