Anyone up for a test drive in Philadelphia

So here's my situation: I'm looking for a MINI but currently I'm in Arizona. I'm moving to Fairfax VA in a week and 2 days and I found just what I'm looking for, a fully loaded 05 MCSa in Philadelphia, but I have no way to test drive it! The owner says everything is perfect, dealer maintained, extended warranty etc. but I need some way to verify that and I'm afraid that if I just wait it might be sold by the time I get there.

Is there anyone out that way who that wouldn't mind helping me out a bit? I'm new to MINIs and honestly wouldn't know all the right things to look for and questions to ask anyway so it would really help me out having someone more knowledgable look at the car as well.

Thanks in advance, you guys have been a great help so far .

Are you talking about the one in Doylestown?

The "S" has been sold at Thompson BMW, if thats what you mean. It wasn't worth it, either. The car had aftermarket seats that were bolted right to the floor with no adjustability. They did have an R50 but I think that's gone, too.

Yep, that's the one. Thompson BMW. I was half tempted to go and look at it. I'm glad you posted though, won't bother wasting my time. Guess that's why there are no images of it posted on Cars.com.

Correct, private party who won't hold the car for me for a week unseen, I did get his permission to have someone else check it out for me though. I'll need to let him know who will be contacting him before passing out his contact info so if this sounds doable to anyone please let me know as I'm really hoping this car turns out to be as good as it sounds.

The only manual transmission I can operate is my bike. So I don't think you want me to test drive it for ya. Or do you?

PM sent to Jahmills, thanks for offering to do this so quickly! If I think I need a second opinion after that I'll be sure and ask, thanks a bunch to everyone for offering!

Also, this car is an automatic so shifting is optional in order to more easily cope with the above mentioned "traffic hell" I've heard such wonderful stories about .
