Do you really need the parking assistance? Otherwise, your setup sounds pretty slick.

Read the chrome line interior thread, just so you'll be prepared for the fact that one does not apparently get all that appears on the configurator. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...hrome+interior

That said - congrats on your decision, you'll love your new MINI Clubman, for sure.

Wife wants it and it should be ok we'll get to see the display on nav screen.
We'll probably fight for the car who gets to drive it though

You're more than welcome. All the choices available upon ordering can be overwhelming even if one can afford everything.

This time around I did go with the invisishield..but there are differences on dealership quotes on how much that goes for as well...there's a thread on here about it all with price quotes.

I am very pleased with all that I did choose - which compared to some is quite limited...in hindsight if I'd wanted to save a bit of money, I could have done without the exterior chrome option, though I do like it, and the piano black interior, though I like it too.

I have the heated seats and mirrors, bluetooth iPod factory option, front and rear fogs, Xenons and those two others above... I think that's it...oh, and I needed the automatic transmission... My MA gave me the rubber mats and boot mat, which I would have chosen to buy if I had to.

Sometimes there are just a bit too many good choices.

I ordered the pure silver as a 2nd choice because my wife vetoed my first choice - mellow yellow. When it arrived, I was so-so with it as a color until I put stripes on it. Now I really like it. I suspect we would be a Pure Silver Owner's Club of maybe 5 members. Haven't seen too many posted here.

Will probably get the sports stripe later one. Although I don't have the car yet, but how can I join Pure Silver Owner's Club?

Is that the only option you think he doesn't need? I have a DS/B and I passed on all that crap, saved at least $7 or 8K dollars, will always get my money out of the car and bought it off the showroom floor. And no matter what anyone here says a MINI over 30K will never garner that on resale. Resale or trade will be stuck at MSRP on a fairly low-optioned model. JCW may hold a bit of a premium, but IMHO the other stuff is just money you throw away, but its your money!

P.S. Why would anyone agree to wait 4 months for a car? Find a dealer who actually sells a lot of these, they will reconfigure one of their advance orders to your specs and probably cut the time in half, if not more. The long waits are only from the low volume dealers, they have low allotments from MINI and there are others who can get you a car quicker. I bought the last 3 off the showroom, just like a 'REAL' car dealer!

Resale value? Thinking of getting rid of it already?

I'd buy a car (and its options) based on the use I'll get out of it. Usage costs money. A new car will almost always never be an investment, and thinking of it that way will only result in disappointment.
