OK, not sure if this should be here or in a regional forum (which one?) but I'm curious how many members of MCO are from the central Jersey area. I'm in Plainsboro just outside Princeton and I'm wondering how many of you would be close by so I can get in on local get-togethers (once I get a Mini). I'm definitely set on getting a MCS after driving one yesterday! I've read about a bunch of gatherings in the Philly area, but I was hoping to find some people a bit more local (already know of Harmini in New Brunswick).

I've been to a wash and wax day with a bunch of M3 owners and it was a blast. I'd like to think the same kind of thing could be arranged with you local Mini guys and gals.

Just wondering what I have to look forward to.

If I'm posting in the wrong place I apologize. Kind of confusing to figure out if I'd consider where I am in NJ to be in the Mid-Atlantic or NY/New England forum.

So let me know if you're in or near the Princeton, NJ area!

I'm in Chatham...if you do a search, there may another NJ thread on here. Regional forums probably the best place to ask and organize.

So Jerseygirl, you're taking the plunge?

PM Mark (mferguson) and ask him to move this to mid-atlantic, that's probably the best place for it.

I live in lower Bucks county, 18 miles and 30 minutes from Princeton MINI. Right across the river.

Thanks! I love the song too.

Do I take it from your username that you are a Penn State alumni/student as well?

I'm in Monmouth County, and have also been looking for more localized gatherings. All the ones I've read about so far, have just been too far for me to go to. Not that I don't like driving far, but my wife works weekends, so I have my 2 year old son, and don't like subjecting him to long trips too often.

I'm always driving out in the Bedminster/Bernards Twp/Mendham area. I had a couple of MCO members meet up a few weeks back and we had dinner at the Black Horse Pub. Nice roads out there for driving.

Dandp,

Please keep me posted on your get-togethers - I'd like to meet with local MCO members.

Great to hear from some other locals. I agree driving long distances for a gathering can be fun, but it's also nice to know there are some people close by for smaller get-togethers.

Can't wait to get my MINI (fingers crossed everything falls into place).
