Cracking the windows with auto up/down?

So, how do you crack the windows open with the auto up/down feature? Say I want to leave my windows cracked when I park my car(I live in South Texas). If I briefly move the toggle down, it rolls all the way down! I must have sat and jiggled the switch for 5 minutes today trying to get it where the window was only down an inch or so. Am I just not getting it? or do other people have this problem?

Yeah, I have to agree, the auto up down feature makes it really difficult to get them cracked. I usually have to hit the button twice in rapid succession to get them in the right spot.

Windows closed, and auto locked then use key/fob to hold 'unlock' just until windows start down, release and lock again w/'key' fob.

I've been putting the window pretty much down and then go back up and toggle switch when it gets close to the top.

Or, I think auto up disables when door is open.

It is tough to get them cracked. My wife stumbled onto KTrout's solution - hitting the button twice in rapid succession. Works well.

Push down then pull up right away. its a little quicker than pushing down twice. for me anyway.

Or, leave the window down, get out of the car, insert the key and turn to lock, then hold the key until the window goes up as much as you would like, then release!
