Well, I guess I'm an owner now--ordered mine yesterday, and I'm waiting on a production number. Not sure what to do as far as tracking progress, so I guess I need to search the site.

Welcome - you're surely not outnumbered here. Congrats on making the decision to place your order! What's the color and kind of Clubman that you'll be getting - and did your dealer give you a time frame?

On this site, the place to start is https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...play.php?f=114 - you'll see several "stickies" and one is about tracking your MINI. Once you get your production number the fun/obsession begins.

Welcome. I'm in with you. New Mini owner with my order in production, not here yet. About 4 weeks to go. The wait will probably make the delivery that much sweeter. At least that is what I keep telling myself.

It was a totally odd experience buying a car that I couldn't drive home. I didn't walk away from the order with anything, or that warm fuzzy that I negotiated a good deal becuase I paid sticker. But most folks do, or so I've been led to believe.

What kind did cha get? What makes it "you"?

Got my production number today, but the system doesn't recognize it yet. I think this is going to be a wait, wait and wait situation!

Anyway, it's dark silver with the black roof, and black sport stripes on the hood and rear lid ; 6 speed, Chrome mirrors with the 17" web wheels. It has all the packages, with nav and satellite. I'm anxious, but not overly excited, given the fact that I have just changed jobs, preparing for vacation, as well as building a new house. However, glad to have the process started!

I'm in the same boat as you, but I know it's gonna be a wait for me since mine won't be born till June. I'll be happy when the production number is recognized, though!

Congrats... if it is your first Mini, you will not be dissapointed. The waiting is the worst part. Mine came pretty fast. Ordered Feb 29, built mid march, then was on the Maersk Wave march 25th. got to port and unloaded on Monday the 21st at 5:06 and some how got to phoenix Wed night the 23rd. maybe it skipped the VDC and jumped on a truck to Phx...

Thanks for the welcome! Looking forward to meeting some real enthusiasts, as well as seeing some nice rides at the Dragon. Even though I don't have mine, my buddy Orangecrush and I will be making the trip on Saturday.

Outnumbered - I'll be waiting about the same amount of time as you are; I just got my production number yesterday and went straight into the Owner's Lounge. I'm trying to transition from Impatient Waiting into Avid Anticipation; I have to put a positive spin on it or I'll go bananas.

I'm sure you'll do what Ron (and the rest of us does).... looking at aftermarket parts...lol.

Ron has already found half a dozen set of wheels he likes. He'll have them ordered, mounted, sitting there waiting until the car comes in.

By the time his car comes in, he'll have more mods than I and I'll have had a 2 month headstart...lol.

I'm sure you two can join some support group...

good call; I've already started selecting bits and stuff I want to add on; I'm trying to reign my imagination in though - I don't want to go berserk with add-ons, 75 grille badges, etc. and end up with a vehicle that looks like 13 clowns and a guy wearing a Shriner's fez might come tumbling out of it at a stop light.
