Clings and things

Since we are getting the registration items together I wanted to let everyone know that some of the additional items included with the Driver Seat registration will be a MOTD magnetic grille badge as well as an event window cling. While the design of the badge isn't yet final the design below should give you a general idea of where its going. We don't have a cling design far enough along yet to provide a picture of it yet but I'll add that when we get that design ready to go.

Mark

Nice.. Very nice... Diligad will surely enjoy a new badge to replace the old Alliance badge.
Just kidding, I will just have to balance the grill by getting another holder.

I've tried that, but it only seems to generate questions from those that notice that I have a different badge on it this week.
  • Why did you change it?
  • Did the other one fall off?
  • I like the other one better.
  • Can I have your other one since you're not using it?
  • I'll trade you for one I have, since you like switching them.
  • Was it stolen?... I had one stolen, was yours stolen too?
  • The other one matches your MINI better.
  • Do I look fat in your MINI? (Oops! that was for a different thread).

HA HA HA HA! I have so many different ones that it is easy to rotate.. I also have 2 holders! So I get lots of usage. I should take a picture of my fridge...you can't see it through all the badges But I haven't gotten any of those responses. Guess people don't notice like I do

Very nice... Does anyone know the Rover part # for the classic Mini magnetic grill badge holder? I really need to get one before we leave.

I have been looking for my holder and last year's badge for a while now. Hope that I find it in time. If not, hello OutMotoring!

Great minds..... Stacey.

I display my 20+ badges on my overhead bookcase at my office and rotate them periodically on the MINIs.

Sharp badge design, Mark... even though it clashes with Chili Red.

You just don't have the right color MINI. It'll look great on Hot Orange.

Oy vey !! Mishka, I think mustard yellow clashes with Hot Orange worse than it does with Chili Red !!

Maybe my monitor needs to be adjusted and it's not really mustard yellow.

Yellow looks good with orange. (Actually, I thought it looked good with red, too.)

Forget the mustard part of the color and just go with it being yellow.

Of course, my current grille badge is white & green with a red Welsh Dragon and says something about this road in TN with 318 curves.

BTW, if it clashes too much with Chili Red, I'll be happy to give your grille badge a home.

I am always wanting to add more! Don't think of it as Clashing, think of it as the Chili Red makes it POP Or put it on Dr.Evil!
Of course I don't have that problem...Pure Silver goes with EVERYTHING and my strames are the complete rainbow of color.. It all looks good! And my fridge is white

Don't tell him that! I want him to think it clashes so he'll give his grille badge to me.

My understanding from the designer is that it is intended to be more orange than it displays on screen. She even indicated that it would be hot orange like

Oh boy... HO and Chili Red... you're right, Mishka, that's even worse !!!

But not to fear, I'll display it with my others in my office and it won't get a rotation on the MINI.
