More grille badge designs from Designs for Motoring!

A local MINI club member gave me a motoring badge as a thank you. This caused the realization that I did not own a motoring badge holder, so I promptly purchased one from Out Motoring. After installing the badge holder, one thing led to another and I starting designing my own, personal badges. After encouraging comments from friends to produce them, Designs For Motoring was born.

Nice designs, Mark. There are certainly a couple "must haves" in there! (With all the great grill badge designs now available from several vendors, I might need a bigger 'fridge!)

I see several that I may need to add to my collection. Any chance you'll have some at the Dragon?

Thanks for the nice comments. We should be adding few new designs in the next few days so hopefully there will be more to enjoy.

Unfortunately, I probably will not be able to make it to the Dragon this year. Too many other trips with the family this year. If there is a particular one you would like I am sure we can work something out.

I just ordered the one that I really want for the Dragon so I'm good for that event. I was just thinking that if you would be there I would get another one or two then. If not, I'll order them after MOTD.

I'll keep checking the designs. Grille badges are an addiction.

Great designs! I'm already making a list of the badges I want to get and I haven't even driven my Mini yet!

I was trying to install my badge holder, however I am finding it difficult to remove the grill due to the fact I have the driving lamps. Are there any tips or how tos on how to install the holder with driving lamps?

Unfortunately, unless you have incredibly small hands, the easiest way to install the badge holder with driving lights is to unplug and remove them from the light brackets. Then remove the grille as normal. There are several threads on NAM that can help you, you may want to start here.

Good luck and let me know if I can help!

OMG, you've done a TARDIS one! I see there are 4 left; any chance the one with the white background will become available again?

...this may be a silly question [sorry in advance]; I am getting the Clubman that has the horizontal grill [unlike the honeycomb on the S model]. I assume the badges will attached to the grill the same??

Yep, just specify type of grille when you order the holder.

Their website doesn't seem to work...you can select badges but there is no way to add them to a shopping cart.
