Supercharger Pulley

Need some info on supercharger pulleys. I've started on my quest to Mod my '03 mini. I started asking around about what are the "cheapest" things I can do to my mini that will gain the most HP. Also keeping in mind not to ruin my everyday drive car. (meaning I don't want to chance screwing up my car) A few people have suggested getting a different pulley for my supercharger. (15, 17, 19) Which is the best? How easy is the install..and how much? And what kind of gain am I looking at?? I mean, if we are talking about 3-5hp for adding a $400 "part" I think I'll pass. Thanks

I ordered a 15% for mine after reading numerous threads about it. For the price the gains will be very nice. Can't wait to get it installed!

You're going to have a huge smile the first time you pull out of the shop. Expect a decrease in gas mileage due to a heavy foot.

I'm installing it myself this week. I bought a 15% pulley from Alta today along with a new belt because mine needs changing.

15% pulley FTW....

For my money a 15% pulley is the biggest bang for the buck mod you can do to your MINI. You will feel the difference. Most everyone I've talked to says that this is the way the MINI should have come from the factory. Next in bang for the buck is a rear swaybar. No more HP, but improved handling.

My MINI is my daily driver & I've had the 15% for 32,000 miles with no problems.
