The Whole JCW Sha-bang(k)

Im considering dropping my Mini off at Morristown to get the JCW suspension kit, tuning, and body kit. Does anyone have any idea what this is gonna cost me? $5500? Think they can group together labor for this?

Give Mike (service manager) a call... he's very reasonable about "while you're in there" type of thing...

Thanks

I will give them a call today or tomorrow. I tried Manhattan mini, but they wouldnt budge on prices for anything. Understandable, but it would have been convenient.

Morristown is definitely the place to get all that done if you're back east. Their prices are pretty smokin' on the JCW kits. Not sure how much they charge for labor though...

Morristown MINI has great internet pricing. You might want to order all your parts in advance of the install using the internet site, then have them installed when you pick them up. If you are out of State it will save you sales tax on the parts. By picking them up you do not pay shipping. I've saved a ton of money with Morristown MINI this way. They are great to work with!!!

Speedwing - thanks! That is a great idea. I guess I'll call them, tell them I will buy the stuff online, but "pick it up" when I have the items installed on my car!

Yea, Morristown is great. I gave them a call earlier in the week and they actually suggested that I order through their website rather than over the phone to save myself a couple hundred bucks. Not many dealers would care.

They quoted me about 4 hours of installation for the body kit at $100 per. Also an extra $1000 () for paint. If I do this mod it'd be far down the line, but good to have an idea on the numbers.

wow

$1000 for the paint? That seems really, really high! I was thinking more along the lines of $500 for the paint. Its just 4 pieces!

On a side note, does anyone know if the JCW suspension kit comes with the JCW strut tower brace? It is unclear from the website...

Yea.... $1000 for a small -individual pieces- paintjob is a royal Ripoff. IMO. Find someone else for the paint. With the color of your Mini in your sig it would not be a problem to match. I would guess ~~$300 to be a fair price.
