Hi everyone! I just joined about a week ago, and this is an awesome site! I have enjoyed reading about everybodys' minis and how they just love their car.
This past Christmas, my husband's gift was my mini. He finally gave me a green light and said, go ahead and order the one you want.
Soooooooo this is what I ordered: Cooper S, sparkling silver, black bonnet stripes, roof and mirror blk, armrest, checkered cloth seats, and the premium pkg. When I get it, I will post some pics of it. I should have my baby around Feb. 10th, 2008. I have been inlove with these cars for about five years.
I am also excited about this site because I can share my enthusiam and appreciation for this cute little car with other people that know the excitement of owning a beauty like this.

This is the best place to learn everything MINI. It is so good to be among others who share our enthusiasm and love of the MINI. I've waited 2 years to order my Clubman and it is heading this way from Southampton now.
I thought of ordering Sparkling Silver, but the Chili Red just shouted out to me.

Here's a word of advice...if you happen to wander over the the Stock Problems/Issues forum, be sure to keep it in perspective. The posters over there are the very minority who have problems/issues. There is no forum called "Stock NO Problems/Issues" for the majority of us.

This is my second Mini with no problems...1st was an '03 and I put 45K on it. I got rid of it because I DIDN'T heed the advice I just gave, and freaked when I only had 100 miles left on the warranty (mainly because of the horror stories on the Problems/Issues page). I love my new R56 though. Buying a new one gave me the chance to get all of the goodies I wished I had gotten the first time.

Welcome! I am waiting for my MCS, too! Seems like a really long wait, huh?

 

My MCS SS/B will also be arriving early Feb. I am as excited as you are! I'll post picks of the car as well.

 

Hmmm, I think I just fixed my email thing...not sure. I've also been very negligent on getting pictures, but I will work on it. As soon as I get a combination of clean, sunshine and approaching the end of the honey-do I will do it!

Hi Katabox! I just got my MINI on Monday. Love your color choices! I thought the waiting would never end. Now that Max is here I can't get over how much I love this car! You are going to LOVE IT!!!

I read somewhere, "it's not a car, it's a cult". I think that's what NAM is all about. What a fantastic community to share your enthusiasm with!

 

We're new too! Just got Daphne on January 8th. I've been told we will love the sparkling silver as it doesn't show the dirt as fast. Saying that, Daphne has already had her first bath after a wet, cold day driving around Dallas!
