Introducing Stanley Tucci the mine

Got a few picks of our new mini "Stanley Tucci". Picked it up in KC last Saturday. After today's motoring session it now has 1438 miles on it. Oh so close to the break in. Sure we will hit it this week.

After seeing the Mellow Yellow snow plow option on another thread, I thought I would show the reason we bought our mini BRG: to haul our BRG civil war artillery collection around.

I could swear my MA told me 1500 miles break in. I checked the manual. It is 1200 miles. Man I missed out on some premium fun today.

Ohhhh! You just gave me the best idea! I'm convinced my Clubman will be a boy, and I've been trying to come up with good names... I think he'll be Puck, the trouble-making but fun-loving spirit! (this thrills my English Teacher-ly self to no end...)
Mr. Tucci played Puck in "A Midsummer Night's Dream"... the one with Michelle Pfeiffer. He was great. I love that movie!

What a wonderful looking car! [Disclaimer: I'm partial to BRG.]

Funny, when I first read the title of your post, I thought it was "Stanley Tucci the mime" and I was wondering what the significance of a MINI being a mime was...

Apparently it says "mine" instead of mini. Someone must have moved the i key on my keyboard.

So glad Stanley Tucci could inspire the naming of a clubman. Can't wait to see a clubman. We almost waited for them to come out. Couldn't. Patience is a virtue that I don't possess.

We had a tough time waiting too. We ordered in late September and received the car in early November. Amazingly, it arrived at the dealer from the VDC earlier than we expected and that was wonderful!

Gotta ask...why "Stanley Tucci" (although I really like his acting chops).

Congratulations on a nice BRG MINI. Great name, too.

Really like the pictures, what historic park in AK? I might have to make a run south next time I am visiting family in Missouri.

We have a standing joke about my wife loving Stanley Tucci. I am not even sure how it started as she really isn't a Stanley Tucci fan. Not that she doesn't like him. Anyway when she was driving the mini the first day and said she loved it, I said " more than Stanley Tucci?" It stuck. Also cool to be able to blame any bad behavior on Stanley Tucci as in " Stanley Tucci loves to go 100 mph ."

Really like the pictures, what historic park in AK? I might have to make a run south next time I am visiting family in Missouri.

The park is Pea Ridge National Military Park. It is a civil war battlefield. It is just east of Rogers, AR which is not far south of the Missouri border. There are some great roads in the area including the one that goes to the park.

Giving up much love for the BRG and the Tuscan beige/ cream white.

Thought seriously about the pepper white. Have seen a few since then, and they are very sweet also. If we were to get a second mini, it could happen, I think it would be pepper white.

Very Classy Color, Specially for a British car like the MINI.

Very prudent to choose a color that matches your Artillery Collection...

Nice.
