Aftermarket Coilovers without lowering the car?

I was wondering if anybody knew of some aftermarket coilovers for 03S that doesnt drop the car any lower to the ground. I know most coilovers are adjustable, but all of the ones i have looked at drop the car at least half an inch if not more, and that is the highest it goes. I live in an area with lots dips, so if anybody knows of any coilovers that dont drop the car at all(or maybe just 0.25") let me know!

They all lower the car at least some degree. That's the main feature of them. You also get rebound, damping and compression settings but you will have to pay to play. To get all those features your looking at $1500+ and thats on the low side. So why put that much money into something when your not going to use them to its full potential and keep your car looking like it should run the Dakar Rally...

yeah, I agree that it's not the most cost effective if you're looking to keep the car stock height.

since you're new to the forum, I'll make the standard suggestion here. Search for Koni FSD's on the forums and you'll probably find what you're looking for.

Not true! Coilovers that have adjustable body lengths can be set to run at or even above stock ride height. BC, Megan, and JIC all have this feature. Simple coilovers like H&R's require you lower the car a certain amount, that's true there.

--->drsilvermini: Why do you want coilovers if for not lowering; just corner balancing? The MINI's suspension works best in terms of geometry when the car is lowered about 0.5" from stock, just like the JCW suspension. If you're looking for more neutral handing, then a stiffer rear anti-roll bar is the answer for the MINI.

If you don't want to lower the car at all, H&R can work for that. But not with the springs supplied. We can substitute some taller ones. Let me know!

Ground Control can and will make anything you could up. If you are looking to do a fully adjustable suspension but keep the sleeper stock height look, I'd talk to them.

They don't have any MINI parts listed but that does not mean they don't or won't make them.

most quality suspension companies can spec custom lengths for you, if you want to run stock height or higher

How much higher than stock is your winter setup? I love driving my MCS in the winter, with the exception of it bottoming out everywhere. Is it hard to set the ride height for your suspension?
