Warranty Deals?

The last Factory Warranty I bought was on a Prius and was at a substantial discount from an out of state dealer that was listed on a Prius users group.

Anyone heard of a dealer that quotes good prices on the Mini warranty?

not dealer warranty, but geico insurance has a $5 a month bumper to bumper (repairs at the shop of your choice including the dealership) up to 7 years 100,000 miles. so worst case over 7 years you pay $420. NOW THATS GOOD!!! the kicker is that you need to add this to your policy before the car reaches 11 months or 11,000 miles.

Sounds good but I don't want to switch to Geico for insurance. I assume you would have to insure the car through them as well.

just called Geico - the extended warr is called "mech breakdown coverage" depending on Vech the cost is next to nothing - for my Mini it is $3.85 a month and covers 7/100,000 and has a $250 deductable for each breakdown. So, depending on the Details - not bad for the cost...
