Not sure how I found this, thought I would share it. Looks like the car performed quite nicely. I would be curious what the data showed.

I'd like to know the speed of the crash. Also it looks like the driver dummy might have hit its back head hard on the door post.

Definitely not US...as I recall, the US test had no dummy in the rear seat (it didn't fit). I guess this one used a little euro-dummy that did fit. I agree that the car holds up well. I think it's funny how the door to the fuel filler falls off and bounces along with the car.

On a more serious note, I can definitely see the value to side curtain airbags. Notice how the driver's head COMES OUT of the window!! If that was a rollover or a side impact (that would have triggered the side bags), he'd be toast without a side airbag. I hate to say it, but this is one of the disadvantages of such a small passenger cabin. Good thing that there's technology to deal with this.
