I'd love to see it too. It looks great with the piano black trim, but still would like to see some photos.

I got's it. It's pretty pimp-a-licous if you ask me.

Here's a pic of it through the windshield...

Sweet! That will be my exact intoerior and trim only on a Dark Silver with black sport stripes and red pinstriping. I am still looking to swap mirror caps with someone with Chili Red.

Cool! Your exterior is similar to mine except I will have red pinstripes on the outside of the black stripes and they will go all the way down in the front and rear. The red stripes will also go over the top, as well.. The stripes also might be set a little further out. Haven't decided yet.

Janet, I am expecting mine about the same time in Kansas City! They will probably be traveling together.

The broker I worked with through my credit union here in Denver said my car is coming from a dealership in Kansas City. Did you buy through Baron Mini/BMW?

Yep. And they are the only dealer anywhere near here, so that must be it.

Which interior trim is this, standard checkered or fluid silver?

Oh this is my first post.... I took a MCS for a 2 day test drive and I've found my next car (sorry VW R32....) I'm looking at Chili Red w/leather punch carbon black & red color line but i can't decide on the interior trim, checkered, fluid or brushed alloy. Opinions? (would do the brushed alloy but that's another $300 hit).

It's just the standard checkered trim. It looked close enough to the brushed alloy that I figured I'd save $300 and just go with it. I absolutely LOVE it! It ties in nicely with the other checker stuff I've got goin' on, and it cleans up nicely with no scratching!

That's good to know because I chose the checkered trim too. Sounds like it was a good choice.

If you're getting an MCS the checkered is standard,($0), the fluid silver is $200, and the brushed alloy is $300. If you're looking to save go with the checkered (It looks better in person than in the MINI brochure.), and if you want something snazzy then go with the alloy. The fluid silver seems a bit pointless (more money, less cool). But that's just my opinion.

I was trying to decide between the brushed alloy and the piano black. After seeing it in person, the black was too smudge collecting, and the alloy just looked and felt a lot cooler. Plus it didn't clash with the chrome interior as much as I was afraid it would. There's some pictures of the rooster red+brushed alloy+chrome combo in this post of this thread.

I have exactly that car with the standard checkered dash. So I'm a bit biased. I wasn't sure about the checkered because it looked weird online. However, I really like it in person. I didn't care for the feel of the brushed alloy.

Good to know and it's obvious you have extremely good taste , i just came back from the dealer and had ordered the exact combo for mine.

After looking at all the options I couldn't justify the $300 for the brushed alloy but instead applied that same amount to the darker headliner and white signal lights. So they still got my $300 but for what I considered to be better spent options.

This is a great post and perfect timing for all my questions, thanks to all that posted pics & comments.
