The Official Totaled MINI Club

I totaled my MINI about 2 weeks ago after being cut off by a teenager in an F150. Since then I have noticed that several people have also totaled their cars recently. With all of the clubs out there and the need for a new signature graphic until my new car comes in, I thought why not start a club for the minis who have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect their owners. Sort of an online memorial or a Tree of Shame for you Dragon Veterans. A testimony to the safety of our favorite car. So post a picture to honor your fallen MINI.

mellotron,

Nice job. I must compliment you on the design of the badge. Well done. Tasteful and reserved.

I would hope that no one though, ever has to incorporate it into their signature.

Yeah--I did it (BMW), and it's a real bummer.

Boy, is that crass. Everyone knows that dead MINIs should be buried in a grave on a beautiful hillside somewhere, preferably overlooking twisties. Lots of flowers, too.

I pulled the entire piece out of the dash and broke the clips. I was just supposed to take the two pieces that gain access to the screws...

Please let me know if the badge becomes available. I was struck in the drivers door by a van who ran a stop sign at fifty miles an hour. I had to be cut out of the car. The car gave its life for me. It was a 2006 Dark gray MCS.
I am now the proud owner of a 2008 Chili Res/black Clubman. "ClubRed".
This is one badge I deserve, and earned.... Thanx, Larry

It is unfortunate that sometimes our MINIs are asked to do this job. And they (I believe) do it willingly and with pride. Our fun little cars would rather see us go on to motor another day.

About 1 year ago RRoCO, our Chili Red '06 MCS gave her life to protect my wife. Our local club was so helpful in getting over that life event but we still remember RRoCO with fond memories. I still have her keys and one wheel cap from her. I've planned to make a small framed memorial to RRoCO and would love to put one of these badges in it as the centerpiece.
