I finally got one!

Hi, all! I finally became part of the Mini family last Thursday night! I picked up a 2005 silver MCc with the blue top. She had only 17K miles and all 4 packages (premium, sport, cold weather, and convenience) and blue leather seats.

Being an excited new owner, I could only think of one thing to do....I packed up the car and headed out first thing Friday morning for a long weekend at the beach!

I've tried to attach some pics from the dealer but I'll try to have some more personal ones done too.

Oh, and does anyone know who will do sport stripes in navy blue?

Your images are *very* small. That is, unless they're clickable thumbnails and I just can't get them open for some reason).

Regardless, I'm excited for you, and I'm sure it's beautiful. Silver and blue is a classy combination. As for the stripes, contact Mike at Aesthetic Creations (www.aestheticreations.net), and he can make up anything you'd like, in any colour.

Excellent Choice!!!

Congratulations on your recent Mini purchase!! As it turns out, I have what seems to be the identical car, with the anthracite interior with navy blue leather seats and conv. top...so happy motoring to the both of us!!!

Commander Dan, when I saw you post the pics of your baby, I noticed it looked identical, at least from the outside, to the one I was negotiating on. I must say, you have impeccable taste!

Congrats...I think blue stripes would look sweet on that, however, I think you'll need to find a local shop in your area to get it done. You would want to check under the automotive section in your yellow pages...or look up vinyl car graphics / stripes on google. Good luck!
