Twin charge cooling

Does anyone have any tips on keeping temps down on a twin charged mini?

I'm currently getting very high exhaust gas temperatures. I have already upgraded the intercooler.

thanks

air fuel is 12 -14 depending on load, being controlled with SAFC II - I'm thinking of changing to MOTEC, but it's a bit pricey!

What about your exhaust? If you can open it up a little more, that should drop back pressure and therefore lower EGT's. If you need more in depth advice, ask some diesel guys. They hate high EGT's like its their job.

at WOT (full load) you should be in the 11.5 range for AFs... that could very well be your issue....

also, it's summer... it's hot... not the best time to be pushing the car...

what turbo are you runninng? T28.... you mean GT2860r? or the disco potato GT2860rs?

what fuel are you running?

how much boost?

what range spark plugs?

Hows your fuel Pressure?

I have been running TC for a long time... and in AZ for most of it... I'll be glad to help if I can... 400hp daily driven.... do all the work and tuning my self...

What about intake air temps? Even with an upgraded intercooler, they could still be high. See if icing down the intercooler does anything. If it does, call these people:
