Help, I've gotten into the backseat and can't get out...

After 5000 miles, I discovered I hadn't sat in the back seat yet! So I shot the driver's seat up as far as I could and still function, then jumped out and jumped back in...into the back seat...just to see how it was. I'm 5'8", body built by Burger King, so wondered how it really felt. Well, I was pleasantly surprised! I DID have room for my legs and the back seat really was quite roomy! Only one problem...

...now how do I get up and back out?? Glad I had my cellphone with me... Hello, 9-1-1?

John

too funny

The solution, as already stated, is simply to always drive - and to encourage any potential passengers over the age of 16 that they really just need to go buy there own MINI instead of being a passenger in yours.

That was one of the things I wanted to make sure of when I was looking at my MINI. I am 6'2", got in the backseat and put the front seat back into position. Actually fit quite nicely and I can get out just fine in comparison to other cars I have been in previously.

You know...I haven't sat in the backseat of my car either! I'm always the one driving. Plus...I just don't like be the passenger, I want to be the driver! Come on...It's a Mini Cooper...you can't say no to it! You just can't! Every time I pass my mini it always calls me and say "Drive me, stud" Well my Mini doesen't say stud...or that it could talk...yet...but wouldn't that be cool if it could!? heheh

Mine talks to me all the time. In fact I get into heated arguments with it when I disagree with the directions it's giving me. Has saved my marriage. I no longer get into these same arguments with my wife .

Getting out of the MINI back seat:

1) move seat and seat back forward to allow egress.

2) stand up in back floorboard, facing the front of the car, bending at the waist.

3) while in standing/bent position, rotate entire stance so that your posterior section is facing the door exit.

4) step backwards out of the car.

5) straighten to full upright position.

That's my technique!!!
