Gatorback belt with 17% pully. tensioner Qs.

I just changed my belt today after using NAPA for like 30k miles
I decided to go back to gatorback, which stripped on me when I had it on awhile ago.

After i put everything back into where it belongs, I see tensioner showing only 1 full hole and a little more but not much. is it suppose to be like that? I thought u are suppose to see 2 holes unless you are running 19%.

Enlight me!

it's unclear to me if you put an old (used ) gatorback back on . if so i'd say it's stretched a bit . if it's new i'm not sure . i'm able to get two holes just for removeing and replacing then it loses some when released. but ; i'm running a 15% . i think it's the same belt size though for 15 and 17 . not positive . but that would explain why you only see one hole . do a search and find that thread with the belt sizes chart . maybe you need a smaller belt .

i searhced a bit before posting and found out that showing 1 hole is fine. but just double checking on 17% pullies!

oh and i believe 15% and 17% uses different belts.

the belt is new and i'm in process of smoothing it out first

Randy showed some concern when he looked at my tensioner with only 1 hole showing at AMVIV.

I'm going to change out my tensioner tommorrow for a new one and keep the Gatorback I've had on for the past 4500 miles.

No issues for me as yet, though my current tensioner is rattling like crazy - thus the change-out.
