Its sitting in the garage and I keep going out to look at it. Sparkling Silver is the most under rated color but when you see it in person. Wow. I am so tired but thats another interesting story. I will do a full report and impression soon. Here's a tease for the folks that are waiting. Your going to love it and blown away. For those that have already taken delivery, you already know.

I have the sparkling silver also and I LOVE IT! All of my friends thought that it was a crappy color when they saw the pics but when the car arrived and they saw it in person. Everyone agreed that it was nice

I wasn't impressed with the pictures of SS, but now that I've seen it in person, I agree. It's a great color!

 

Agree that SS is a beauty. The first '07 I saw in person was SS and it was gorgeous.

 

I too have just recieved my brand spankin new MCS Convertible silver w/black top . I was called by the dealership while I was out of town rafting on the Natahala River (aka: home of MOTD). I got home and got out of my smelly river clothes and went directly to pick up the new addition to the family. Now here I sit at work watching the clock waiting to take it for a real drive after work. I took my first work break at 7:30am and went for a quick spin around town.

Does anyone know where I can find a good listing of MINI events around the Southeast?

SS was the color I was going to order originally, until I saw the NFR color chip in the box at the dealership. But, without visual reference of your particular implementation of SS, it is difficult to express myself in an overt manner.

I have to figure out how to implement pictures. The other problem in regards to the "interesting" story is that my son's camera (mine) was stolen in Paris as he just got back from a high school Europe trip. Pictures soon, sorry.

 

Sorry to hear about the camera, not an excuse ... Just a trip with your MINI, and then you can take pictures for the eagar folks here at NAM.
