New guy with option questions

My wife and I finally ordered an S cab in pepper white with the sidewalk package. Online it let us choose the white dash and door trim, but our salesperson called this moring to let us know that Mini wouldn't build it that way. Anyone have a similar experiance or possibly a solution? It's not really a deal breaker, we are still excited to get the car.

That's odd. I decided to test it out online and it let me do it...? That would be a nice look, but going with a darker color wouldn't hurt. Gorgeous leather with that package!

The dealer didn't really understand it either. I am happy either way. I have always been a sucker for a color matched dashboard, but the seats more than make up for it.

That's what the beautiful thing is about MINIs- you can customize them to your liking. Each one is unique and shows a little personality. I could go on but then I'd start getting mushy. Despite all this, I got a pre-loved MINI, and I have no regrets. So to me this wouldn't be a disaster, I agree.

Being that the general manager let me take HIS place in line, I suppose I have no room to complain. The car will be here early July.

Just received mine last week. The Pepper White sidewalk looks great with the anthracite interior ,dash and the Sidewalk leather. When I get a chance I'll post a few pics.

July doesn't seem so far away. We have a 99 VW cabrio to sell in the mean time.

Some pics would be nice, we haven't seen it in person.

We just picked up a PW/Blue Sidewalk almost two weeks ago. I too wanted the PW dash so I solved that by finding a good deal on some dash pieces on NAM and painting them PW myself. Installed everything a few days after we got Dougal home...

I was considering painting them if it really bugs me. I have read that the doors are tough dissasemble.

The doors are certainly more work than the dash, but we've had them apart in my MCS and it wasn't too bad.
