Got my production number today!

I ordered my new MCS on monday and just got an email with my production number this morning! Now the wait begins, my MA said it should be arriving late July. Here are the specs:

Laser Blue/White MCS
6 speed manual
Sports Package w/ crown spokes & white stripes
Limited Slip
Sports Suspension
MFSW
center armrest
brushed alloy interior
HiFi Sound System
Rear fogs
white turn signals
center arm rest
cloth seats

PS, I'm having a bit of a tough time coming up with a name, any suggestions? He's a boy

Nah, the wait is an adventure unto itself. Here is where one finds out what they are made of. Cheesey or Whiney?

My wife ordered a PWS on Friday and they emailed the production # to us Monday. I called Tuesday and they still didn't have a production date. I called Wed night and it was in production and has a completion date of May 30th! This morning I checked the website and she now has a VIN #. My wife can't believe it is true but I talked to 2 people at 1-866-ask-mini and they say the same thing. We might not have to enroll in the Skuzzy School Of Whine.

Congrats!! - as Skuzzy says the wait is part of the "entertainment" - Hanging out here on NAM helps to make the wait somewhat bearable - find your production mates and ship mates - and you can all whine together that helped me.

As for a name, as someone once said here, you'll know it when you find it!

It sucks.

I ordered mine in March and am getting my car in early July. It just sucks. It's been 8 weeks already and I have to wait 7 more weeks.

Thanks for all the well wishes! I have a feeling I'll be leaning more towards the school of whining, as I've already checked the owners lounge 3 times today to see if maybe it slipped into production yet!

It's going to be a long 8 weeks... :(
