Has anyone found any Purple Haze MINI toys? Thanks. As a pround purple owner, I feel kind of left out in the toy aisle..............

Every time I’ve been in the toy section shopping with my son for Christmas I’ve kept my eye out for one too - still have not seen one.

 

The only purple toy MINI I've seen is the Urban Metalz which I've only found at KMarts.
It's a pretty modded MINI, slammed and such, but still definately a MINI.

I have a spare if you can't find one.

That is the only one I have that is even close, but the color is quite off.....

Yes, that's the one. Being colour-blind, I wasn't even sure it WAS purple until my wife confirmed it.

has a cabrio in "blackeyed purple". I've forgotten... ..is that the same as your purple haze?

This was the only place I was able to find a diecast version of my velvet red beauty. The minichamps models are not cheap but they are incredibly detailed.

Thank you so much! Blackeyed purple is the same as purple haze. I wish it was not a convertible but am very excited just the same! I hope to get one and keep an eye on that site! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!

The remote control MINI is not as purple as I hoped , but we did get a note saying that the Purple MINI with the Japanese flag is waiting for us at the post office!

Though, I'm still looking for a PH cabrio in a larger scale.

 

We did find one really fun little purple MINI that came from Hong Kong off of ebay. It is really cute and I think it might be a "penny racer" since it has a little slot on the back. Were the penny racers supposed to pop a wheelie when carrying a coin? this one doesn't do it with a penny though. . . .

 

This is a 1:18 Kyosho diecast, available for about $50. The scale18.com site is a very good place to buy one. The model looks blue in the picture, and I haven't seen one in person, so you may want to ask the shop owner, Kevin, to verify the color before shipping. Good luck.

 

I have delt with this since day one...there are no MCS in Indie blue....so I'll just have to get one painted up someday when I am getting some other stuff done

 

Thanks GTS! I knew they must have one. I've got the same model in Royal Gray that I won at the Phil Wicks driving school in Nashville. They sent it to me for being named "most improved driver". It's just not PH!!! And it's not an S. It's the most detailed model I've seen.

 

Important update to my previous message about 1:18 Kyosho. The same model will be available as a MCSc version in early 2006. This one will not be as widely available - sold only through MINI dealers. The part number will be:

Two other colors are available sooner (mayber already).
