Nice find on the Model Power MINIs DD! I'm still lacking the red one, but I'll get it one of these days!

I did have one of those "holly crap" moments tonight. I had stopped at the local chain drug store, (CVS) and while I was waiting for a scrip to be filled I headed over to their little toy area. They only had 3 HW's on the rack and the second one back was this:

Yeah you're right, it's not a MINI or even a Mini, but it is a Treasure Hunt! The first one ever that I have found in a store on a hook! It didn't hit me right away what it was, so I had started to walk away and then it clicked. It said T-Hunt

Off to see what they are selling for on eBay
Excellent find Smokey! I wish I knew you still needed the red Yat Ming I would have picked it up for you when I got mine. if I come across one I will pick it up.

Thanks Bobbie! I was rather excited when I found it, brought it home and when my wife opened the bag, she said, "What's this, it's not a MINI?"

When I tried to explain that it's a T-Hunt, all I got was, "But it's not a MINI." Oh well.

And I don't need the Red Yat Ming, the ones DD was talking about are the Model Power Mini's in 1:87th scale. If you come across one of those I'll take it!

I did a search and couldnt find it so here is my 1:6 Scale RC Cooper with lambo doors and Spinners. It is made by fast lane. It says Gull wing doors but it has lambo doors.
It is about 2 feet long. I have one that has regular doors and tires.

I was in a KB Toys 2 days before Christmas and ran across 2 each of red and blue MINI Cooper Convertibles from Maiso in 1:24 scale. Grabbed them all of course.

We just received this one from Hong Kong. It is about the size of my thumb and really cute! I think it might be a penny racer from the look of the slot on the back. . . .

That little purple MINI is available here. . . cheap too even with international shipping! Our's arrived from Hong Kong in about a week

The same seller has some very neat MINI Cooper toys too! Worth checking out. I really like the international flag series as well as the Beatles series!

Since I like Land Rovers (real ones, not luxury SUV's) and MINI's, my newest addition to my collection is especially fun for me!

I am looking for a Hot Orange MINI Cabrio. I know there are some out there, including MINI's 1:18 scale one for $65.

I have seen pics of the Hot Wheels version, but cannot find one in person. Is the color close to the actual thing? Does anyone know of other Hot Orange Cabrio's out there(other brands) or where I can order one online? (I have seen a couple of Cabrio's on eBay and the pic looks like an orange car, but it isn't a pic of the actual item up for bid and the seller never answers my question about the color.)

Any help appreciated!

yes it's the same color, and I found mine at KB toy store. also found the smaller version of the red and the blue Convertibles. I paid $20 for the orange one.

I have checked the Wal-Mart stores around us and they seem to carry every type of toy car, truck, etc EXCEPT MINI's.

My wife and I have a saying about the Wal-Mart stores near us: "This would be a good place to open a Wal-Mart." It doesn't matter what it is you go to the store to buy, our Wal-Mart will not have it. They recently opened a SuperCenter-now there is more stuff you are not looking for, and more space for the stuff you want, but they don't carry. We recently went to buy a new microwave, and the shelf with the demo microwaves was half empty, and there was no stock on the shelves. We asked if they had any in back waiting to be brought out. Nope, and they weren't sure if they would receive any the next day either.

The KB Toy store closest to us(50 miles) is pretty small, but I check it whenever I am in Cape Girardeau.

How thick is your wallet feeling today? A 1:12, made by Kyosho, can be ordered from your MINI dealer.
Here are pics of the hobby shop (non-dealer) version, which is red. Part numbers for the dealer colors are:
80 43 0 391 975 : MINI COOPER CABRIO : HOT ORANGE
80 43 0 391 976 : MINI COOPER CABRIO : COOL BLUE
80 43 0 391 977 : MINI COOPER CABRIO : ASTRO BLACK

That black HW? I have about 20 of those, half of them with gold wheels and "Faster Than Ever" packaging.

Anyone who is coming to AMVIV should bring your spare toys for a swap meet.
