Any one out there near a Wienerschitzel Hot Dog place? It seems that they and Pepsi are running a "MINI to the Max" contest to win a MINI Cooper. The thread in MINI Talk gives the website and info on how to get a game piece. I'm interested to hear how the gamepiece is attached to the Pepsi cup at the store. Does the game piece have a MINI on it? Or say MINI to the Max? Maybe the cups have the slogan or a MINI on them- Could someone check this out? After how everyone wanted the Krystal Kids Meal boxes, i thought we better check this out!!

Okay - here is the scoopage on the Weinee cups. And I did ask if they had any bags or anything else that had the MINI on it - nope...

The game piece does NOT have a MINI on it. You pull it off to see if you WIN the MINI or a couple of other things they are giving away. But the cup itself does have a picture of a MINI on it (the promotional ad MINI from their website). I have 4 extras if anybody wants them. And I won't even pull the game piece off - LOL!! But you better not win (just kidding).

As to not smash the cup (I'll let you decide how you want to keep it in your collection), I'll need to mail them in a small box...geez...for a cup - hehehe - are we nuts or what????

I'll be happy to send them to whoever would like one or two or three or four...

The MINI Marketing Team is at it again!!!

Check out Motoring file for the latest info on MINI's newest comericals and products! The price seems a little steep for me- $110 for three gag MINI products but I did spend 20 bucks on a 10 minute DVD so who knows!

This means that some new print ads should be distributed shortly to go with the new campaign! Be on the lookout!!!!

 

I got the cups on Saturday. I couldn't think what could be in the box, then had a good laugh when I saw it was the cups. I haven't peeled off the game pieces (yet?). Donna, I'll definitely send stuff your way.

Hmmmm....wonder how many people were on his list,as now I know I'm not the only one who got this email!!!! Hi All!! Happy Cold December (except probably you,Donna)!! Unfortunally I don't have any MINI news to tell you all about or any new ads to share but just wanted you all to know that I'm thinking of you all. Does anyone know if the Holiday catalog that was sent out to a few of you was sent by your dealer or MINIUSA because as to date, I haven't gotten one. My husband is near the Annapolis MINI dealer right now and I'm trying to see if he'll pick me up one but he says that when he's available to go over there, the showroom isn't open... Hope all is well and stay warm!!!

 

Anne - Hi!! We received 2 in the mail - one for each MINI. Mike was at the dealership this week and they had some so he grabbed a few more. So....I can always mail you one... Let me know....

We're going to Italy soon and plan on stopping at a MINI dealer or two(if convenient) and see if I can get some European MINI items.

Has the new marketing company put out any MINI ads yet?.... the new VW GTI ads are already in some magazines.

 

I haven't seen any new MINI ads yet. Haven't seen any of the VW print ads yet either, though. I have seen a couple of the new VW television ads and (in my opinion) they are LOUSY. If they were counting on their ads to make me want to purchase one of their cars, they would go bankrupt.
