Nicely done.
I'm sure some members will be interested to read about the technique.

Photoshop. Filters.
So, a photoshopped entry is ok?

Sorry to dissapoint you, but this is not photoshopped
, just kidding. I just used the top of the butter dish to give an illusion of a droplet (sorry, I am broke can't afford macro lens). Rotate, crop, change exposure, sharpen, contrast. Everything was done in Lightroom. Here is the original. I like to say thanks to everyone who voted for us.

eurazn, outstanding job on the photo!
Thank you very much for posting the original image. Your photo makes a fantastic example of a before and after "digital darkroom" session. You did not do any PS "tricks", only the same adjustments that wet darkroom masters would have also done if this was on film. Man do I love digital photography! Extremely creative idea, great composition, and perfect work in post processing makes for a very deserving win!

Thank you for your kind words. I do not know if I am allow to do post-process or not because I can see this as unfair to other contestants. Like I said before, many beautiful pictures in the contest and well worth applause for. Cheers
ah HA, so what I thought I saw as "pixelation" in the drop was actually just minor imperfections in the "drop", since it was glass, and not a water drop (which would be more perfect in shape if it was a small enough drop) as I suspected. It all makes sense now. . .
post processing is definitely allowed, I adjusted some brightness and contrast in the photo I submitted. If you had just taken a picture of the mini and used photoshop to wrap it around a water drop, that would have been one thing (although still legal I believe), but just using it to "clean up" the photo is well within the rules and almost commonplace I'd believe.
