Seen on the way to work this morning...
I'm always craning my neck as I drive by to look into this huge garage where they keep lots of race cars. This one was getting ready to be hauled down to Monterey for the weekend for the R&S auction. It competed in LeMans 97, Daytona numerous times and lots of other races that were mentioned rapidly by the guy who was moving it. The shark tank is the building behind the first photo for the SJ locals.

 

Very cool! Never a big fan of the Viper but made a fairly good racecar. I love those amber headlights, adds a french je ne sais quoi.

 

Mrs. MarkS would be very upset with me if I brought that back from Monterey.

my dream car...wow...i wouldn't drive it, because i know within a span of 2 miles i'd have it wrapped around a tree on fire, and i would be getting out, putting the fire i have on my clothes out and asking myself what the ***** happened as I watched it burn...ps i am an optimist

 

Many a friend has asked me why I don't ride a motorcycle. I think you've just summed up my response precisely.

Well, last year I bought driving shoes and two books. Not sure I can splurge that much this year.
