So Who's Car is it?
I'm pretty sure that your car is the same color as the one pictured, but correct me if I'm wrong... That's an '05...
Great pictures though...

It's not my MINI (mine is DS/W).
The owner is from the area, but isn't on NAM. I'm glad you like the photos, it was a fun shoot.

minimonkey: That's how it was done, although mbabischkin's idea might work to. Anyone want to try that method?

Hmm, I think by now we should all expect that DiD IS a pro!!!
I agree though, those shoots look like a part of a MINI fashion campaign.

Yes the engine shot is the coolest in an artistic view. Like the first shot too. Very GQ.

I think MINI2 and NAM need to add a button in the compose window that inserts "Great shots again, DiD!"

I have some ideas for doing another bonnet shot. Hopefully soon I'll get a chance to do do it.
Here's one more photo.

Nice pics. I think it is a 2005 model, it just has halogen headlights.

Nice work! Did you shoot digital? (If so, please tell me where I can get those Kodachrome flash cards!)

You could really freak people out and have the hood shot transferred to vinyl and put on a real hood.

That's it exactly.

Yes, I only shoot digital (Nikon D70). The photos above, like most of my photos, were shot RAW and then processed using Nikon Capture to custom adjust white balance and curves.

Beautiful work. Which, in case you didn't get it, is what I meant by my Kodachrome remark:
-
Kodachrome, they give us those nice bright colours
They give us the greens of summers
Makes you think all the world’s a sunny day, oh yeah!

It's just a little early in the morning for me. Thanks for the clarification.

. I like the first shot. I almost like the additional shot but I think the lines of the car follow the lines of the corrugate too closely and it subdues the car... but maybe thats what you were going for!?
