MCS video - Mt Veeder Rd.
Hey hey! Here's a 6 minute Divx avi of a recent excursion to my favorite road. Take a look. It's around 40MB. I'm not sure how I can get it smaller without comprising even more quality. Unfortunately I didn't have any engine sounds, since my audio cable hasn't come in yet. :( Let me know what you think! Click here to view it, or do some Right-Click-Save-As action. There's a second section after I pass the car at the end, but it's 8 minutes long. If there's interest I'll post that one too.
seems like a nice video to me but maybe a different choice of music??? where was the camera located? type?
but all in all was pretty nice sensation of speed, how fast were u going on average? 40, 50?

Nice job. The best way to make your file size small is to post a smaller clip!
6 Minutes of the same view gets kinda like more of the same! The first 15 seconds was the coolest part for me. I would change camera angles, and get that audio of your engine/supercharger whine in there, and a different choice of music will do wonders!
But good job!

Thanks for the comments! It's only like my second or third try with this chase camera. Next time I do a run I'll try attaching a couple different cameras to different locations and see how it cuts together. Hopefully this week I'll have my audio cable working, so the supercharger will sound glorious!
The camera was located here. I was going between 40-65. Near the end by brakes were fading.. :( I think that's the next upgrade. I don't have a wide selection of music, so I just picked one. I'll pick a more likeable song next time.

Nice! Try mounting it on the forward part of the door, just behind the front wheel. It'll make your footage a lot more exciting, being both low to the ground and seeing the front wheel turning.

Good video! I enjoyed it! It was interesting to see how some portions of the road are/were better than others! (e.g. cracks in the road, potholes etc) Nice pass too!
Our local group here in AZ is getting ready to put together a fun run on the 27th. I have never driven it, but I guess they call it the 12miles of terror! Looking at the photos, lots of twisties! Anyway, back to my story, after doing my first video recording post CAI and exhaust, we need to figure out a way to mount the camera to a sticky pod to record everything.
Still trying to get over that issue of, "Will that sticky pod hold my camera to the car?"
Great color on the MINI too!

The 12 miles of terror are great!
I drove it when I was in AZ last year. Great fun. That's highway 89 isn't it?
I'm using a Chasecam tripod or single suction mount. Works great for me. I'm not putting my camera out on the corner of the car though. I'll let the little bullet camera take the damage.

My luck, at the apex of the first corner, the camera will longer be in the land of the living! I am sure it would be fine, but....
