I've finally decided (after 3 ish weeks) to just buy the Canon 20D body that I wanted in the first place. I also just purchased a 70-200mm f/4L lens. This is going to leave me with a Canon 75-300mm IS USM lens and a Digital Rebel 18-55mm EFS kit that are both <1 month old. My question is where will I get the best money for the items considering they are basically brand new? EBay? Somewhere else?

I don't know where used camera equipment is bought/sold. Someone told me that camera shops sometimes buy used gear. I'm guessing these places are like used car dealers in that they screw you on trade-ins so I'm not too big on selling to a shop.

 

you can always try ebay..you have the reserve so using that you can atleast not loose it for less than you want...

 

I hate to say it but ebay is my least favorite place to sell stuff. I may resort to it though as it looks like the 75-300 IS USM has been fetching $350-375 and the rebel kit fetches at least $700 from decent sellers (I have 100% positive with like 44 transactions).

 

If you don't want to use eBay, you might want to give KEH a try and see what they'll give you for it. They're very honest, though it might not fetch quite as much as selling directly through eBay.
