Mine won't be a winner this month either. I considered submitting this pic, but it technically was not raining - although it had for most of the morning before the shot. I just didn't consider "the ground being wet" as fitting the criteria of Rain.
I like the story behind that picture - bubbles!!! Great idea! And the skyline is really, really good.

I hate to tell you this but you would have definitely won if you had submitted the picture because it clearly shows that it had rained. The composition and the colors are super cool.
