Confession time (sort of)
My pic #4 (MINI beside a farm fence under a tree) was only made to look like a fall photo. Because it's spring here!
Well - the contest said "fall colors", it didn't say it had to be fall!
The yellow flowers in the foreground were real - "capeweed" flowers cover huge areas of the Yarra Valley in spring to the delight of photographers and despair of farmers. And I thought the pose was a sort of fall shot. The tree was that bright yellow-green you get in early spring, so I just boosted the yellow and orange saturation in the top portion of the photo and - instant fall!
