With the help of Patrick MINI I'm happy to announce the Chicago Italian Job Pre-Screening.

When: 5pm Thursday the 29th of May.

Where: We'll meet at Patrick MINI in Schaumburg. After a little meet and greet with other owners we'll motor over to the Street's of Woodfield to watch the pre-screening around 7pm.

Who: This event is open to all Patrick MINI customers, all those on the Chicago MINI Motoring Club email list, or anyone willing to take a Thursday afternoon off and drive to Schaumburg IL. For those interested, to get on the Chicago MINI Motoring Club list simply email me (gabriel@bridger.us) with all your contact information and let me know if you can make this event. (The club is just starting up so at this point this is just an information list - no dues have yet been collected.)

Things to Bring: Money for your popcorn and Milk Duds, and all your best Mini apparel..

Again it'll be very important for you to let me know (gabriel@bridger.us) if you can make it as I'll need to give a final number to Patrick MINI fairly soon. Regarding the question of guests Patrick will let us know once they have a final count but it'll probably be okay to bring a guest.

I know that the 5pm meeting time will hamper some people's best efforts to make it but this event seems like it might be worth leaving work early for. Hope to see everyone there!

I will try to get there as close to 5:00 as possible.. Work is not too hard to duck out of for me, but getting babysitter/Mom at that time is tough (I guess I could lock the kids in the closet for an hour or two. )

I was just told by the dealer that we had over 140 MINIs at the pre-screening lastnight!

Is this the largest gathering outside of the permier in LA? The crazy thing was the MINI dealership 20 minutes away also had a pre-screening. It looks like they had a decent, if not smaller turnout as well. I can't imagine both groups being in one spot.

 

thnax for inviting us to that event. i had a grea time even though i showed up a bit late. never realized that there was that many minis in the area. as i only see one or two a week and they are the same one. the movie rocked and i appreciate the offer to do that. big thanx to patrick and this site for it!
