my dealership (Motor City MINI) has version 36, but in German. When I talked to ASK-MINI yesterday, they said that the German version "was sent accidentally to all the Midwest dealerships." Morons!

MINI of STL also received the German version. Yet another screwup for MINIUSA! How could we expect anything other than another delay (hopefully brief)?

I got the v. 36 upgrade from Classic last week... lemme tell you, its a whole new car. I could never quite get a good launch before, now its completely seamless. I wouldn't be surprised if this alone gives MCS's a good .5 second shave off their 0-60 times. I wonder if anyone has tested that. I would with mine, but with my Pilo intake and Magnaflow, the results wouldn't fit a stock MCS, as mine is noticably faster.

What else in v.36? If I have it installed I have to ship the ECU back to Renntech to re-program.
Thanks

A bunch of us got V36 uploaded at Classic MINI this past week. Besides Classic MINI taking excellent care of us, V36 is very much worth the effort. The Cruise control actually holds a speed, and DSC isn't as intrusive as before. I didn't have the stumble, but the others that went with me that did, their stumble is totally gone. In general the car starts, runs, and behaves much better versus all prior versions.

Yes, if you have aftermarket ECU mapping, you'll have to have your ECU reflashed again, however it's worth the slight inconvenience.

Cheers,
Ryan

Answer my own question. No

I am getting v36 installed next week. Then in Feb., driving to St. Louis for the Webbmotorsports pulley party. Can't wait to see if v36 fixes my yo-yo issue.

Will report back.

So that I am on the right page here...
Classic and Cincy both have V36?
MAG is the only dealer in Ohio that does not have 36?
