Juicer: Welcome! The Tire Rack is helping alot with this Midwest event. There are many stories of Mini owners working with Alex at TTR and being very, very pleased! I am sure you will be one of them. EVERYONE: Details coming into place for our October 4 AutoCross and Road Ralley. Gonna put up a website, after the holiday, with ton's of info. Meantime, enjoy it, and keep motoring!

 

i would like to go to the meet but i wont have my car yet. i get it in mid october so im just a little late. i would like to go out though and meet up with everyone, it sounds great. would i still be able to go on the track even though i wont be in a mini?

 

We are open to other cars joining in on the fun, but it will depend on how many Minis register. There's only so much time and this is a Mini event. Happy to have "Future Mini Owners" along, and my bet is, there'll be track time for you too.

 

thats great to hear. i would like to see the cars in action and meet the people. i really wish that my car would have been here in time but o well there will be more.

 

so have we firmed up a date yet? I'd like to attend, hopefully I can drag one of my MMMC buddies along so I can be co-pilot in a MINI

Just found this thread..... count me in!! something ironic about an auto-cross event at the place i buy my tires at..... bet they have super abrasive pavement.... great for traction and sales!

Alex, since you got my tires and wheels to me in record breaking time, after the driving portion your first beer is on me.

I have my regular motorcycle helmet, but what about others that don't have one..

 

Good question E.. I hope to have a couple on hand borrowed from another club. Might seem like over-kill, but we are committed to no one hurt, no car damaged!

On of our ideas was to select a weekend they would not be playing home, in case some would like to stay the eve! Hotel rooms available!

Minifin-- It is great!!! That's a fine MCS you've got there. I drive by it going down Jefferson all the time. (Hope you appreciate the plastic bag I put the note in, sudden downpour... ink running... wouldn't do that to your Mini.) With this event, we may get a viable local club going... but if there's only a few of us... Anyway, glad you're coming, looks like we've got a good number of Mini drivers coming from points distant... can't wait. Be sure to spread the word to anyone interested in Minis and autosports. This Saturday morning, (Sept. 20th), I'm heading over to The Tire Rack to check out the BMW's autocross. I'll be there at about 9AM. If you want to see one before ours, here's a chance. Otherwise, see you on the 4th!!!
