ok, so i'm taking my girlfriend out tonight. and i wanted to do something a bit different than dinner and a movie. we are getting diner, but i was thinking of going to the lake and walking the beach or doing something outside, but can't think of any thing or places to go. can you help me? she is under 21, so bars are a no no. i live in mchenry but have no prblems driving out to chitown or schaumburg or anything around there. can some one give some ideas of what we can do? anything would be great as long as it is outside.

i think there are fireworks downtown tonight.
it's always nice to stroll down miichigan ave. on friday night.
tons of good food in the area. close to the lake. fun!

 

thanx guys, those are some things i was thinking of. unfornutely grape bowling hasn't made it here yet. yeah i was thinking that we can have a nice night out, talk and just walk around somewhere. then head home for some fun.

Ahhhh my old home town GOOD CHOICE. there was a Harry Potter Fest hapening too, so maybe timing was not the best. Stop by Tasty Dog on Lake St, good stuff.

Fireworks happen EVERY Saturday at Navy Pier. plus the Ferris wheel is there too, always a great date destination. From there you can take a nice walk to Buckingham Fountain.

Mini Golf is all over, Karts are a hard thing to find in Chicago. If anyone knows of good karts let us know!
