Hey did anyone else go to this May 28 ? My wife and I did (driving each of our MINIs) and we had a blast. :smile:

The only sad part was that we were so excited about the whole affair we forgot our camera / video or if you took pictures could you please post? Thanks.

British Mini Werks posted a lot of pictures (including a couple that look exactly like the ones from your signature... hmm...) but you have to be a member to see them... you should talk to Anthony and get signed up.

 

I attended the rally on Thursday and brought along my CR/B Cooper S with silver 5-spokes and my older brother. I took some footage on a digital video camera so I will see if I can't find some time to download them. I was surprised by the amount of cars that attended. However, was hoping for more of them to be enhanced by the aftermarket. Although, I am stock myself but have plans to change that. I have only driven the car for a month and aftermarket goodies aren't in the budget currently. Back to the topic - I will post the pics that I have. Some from on top of the ladder at the dealer and a few as cars were parking at the cinema from the ground and atop the wall at the rear of the lot.

Hey, I even won the chamois jacket while there, plus it was a great time seeing fellow motorer's cars and the movie.

Oh yeah Anthony is nuts, he passed me on the outside lane on the onramp squeling tires!

I'm not sure if we are going to sign up to British Mini Werks. Any chance someone could copy and post these pictures? Hint, Hint....
Perhaps this would encourage enrollment?

So how are I going to see a picture of the "sea of Minis" taken from the ladder in front of all of us, or am I "strong-armed"into joining British Mini Werks?
