River Play Day and Motoring
What: A day to drive and to play
When: Saturday, June 17th, 10 am
Where: Coarsegold, CA
Details: The Drive - Meet in the town of Coarsegold, drive through Oakhurst to Ahwahnee. Pit stop at The Homestead Cottages on Road 600. Drive down Road 600, stop at the Raymond General Store. Drive to Road 603, turn left, drive past Lost Dam and then turn left on Road 400. Photo (& pit) stop at Buck Ridge at Lake Hensley. Drive another 10 miles north on Road 400 to Archers' Riversong Ranch (just past Cornerstone Ct.). The Play - At Archers' Riversong Ranch (on the Fresno River) we'll have barbequed hot dogs and hamburgers and play in the river.
Start at 10:00 am in the town of Coarsegold, arrival at Riversong Ranch at approximately noon. Lunch and river play until approximately 4:00 pm.
$5.00 per person to cover food, and bring your favorite beverage. Bring swim suits, towels, river shoes (or extra old shoes,) sunscreen & water toys (though they have a lot.).
