The AMVIV Carovan

It will leave from the Denny's parking lot at 1121 Parkway Drive, next to the Days Inn.
It is off of Hwy. 99 and Olive ave. in Fresno. Parkway is the frontage road on the west side of 99,and is 1/2 block south.
We will leave there at 9:30am sharp. If you want to eat, you need to get there before that time. Myself, I will be there between 8-8:30am, depending on who all is staying next door.
From there we will head to Bkersfield, to possibly pick up some other Mini's. We will stop at Hwy. 58 and Weedpatch Hwy. The gas station on the south east corner, for fuel, munchies, and other things.
From there we will head to Barstow and hopefully meet up with some SoCal members, at a place still to be determined.
From there, on to the Palace Station in Vegas.
Hope to see a big turnout. We had 22 in the carovan last year. Lets make this one bigger.

Armondo just sent me a pm. He is thinking about flying to Vegas, becouse he can't get the time off. I told him he needs to figure out how he can drive or he will go nuts seeing all the Mini's, and his not being one of them.

 

No kidding. O well, he can ride in one of ours if need be...

Shouldnt be more than 4 hours from when we leave fresno...

 

It takes me 4.5 to 5 hours from Oakhurst so it should be about 3.5 to 4 from Fresno. So if all goes well and the gas stops don't take too long and everybody leaves on time, I would expect to see us at about 2:00 pm. Margin for error: Don't hold your breath too long after 2:00 pm or you might turn purple.

Yeah, Barstow around 2pm. Haven't figured out where yet. Last year we met at Burger King off of Main. Might do the same this year.
