If I need to get my mini serviced, do I have to take it up to Niello in Sacramento? Or is there a place closer that's authorized to work on Mini's?

The only times I have been to Niello was to order, then pick up Sir Nigel. All of my service work I had done at Long Beach MINI.

As far as closer dealers...I live in Hanford, and Bob Smith in Calabasas is the closest for me. If you're in Fresno/Madera, probably a Bay area dealership.

For those interested in doing their own maintenance or wanting help, maybe we should organize club maintenance parties (garage parties?). Since I have most any tool needed to do almost any job, from pulling an entire engine and drivetrain to changing oil, I would be happy to host such an event. Sunday, after the Mt. Diablo run, I will be replacing my sticking S/C bypass valve. Mods are no problem, either, since I have installed all of mine with no problem and will continue to mod to the end. :smile: Check my sig for the major mods. Let me know if there is any interest in this. Thanks.
