Please join us for a BBQ celebrating Custom Mini Shop's 5 year anniversary & MidCal MINIs August Meeting!

When: August 21, 2010
Where: Custom Mini Shop - 3439 W. Holland Ave #103, Fresno
Time: we will be there all day so show up when you can!
BBQ Severed: around 12:00pm
MidCal Meeting: after lunch around 1:00 - 2:00

This event is open to all mini owners. To all MidCal member please bring a side dish, desert, or drinks for example: salad (any type), chips, dip, fruit, veggies, cookies, water, or sodas. A huge thing to remember is that it is going to be hot so beware of items that will melt or spoil quickly.

Also we are looking for people to let us barrow pop up/tents, tables, ice chests and gas BBQ (if possible). If any of you have any of these items that we can barrow please let me know via PM so that we can go over getting it to the shop.

Please remember to RSVP so that we have some type of head count. We are hoping for a huge turn out! Hopefully we can bring in new mini members into our MINI family and introduce people to custom mini shop.

Please, don't encourage MINI abuse. Speaking of which, Bitzie and I were ready to start GAMA "geeks against MINI abuse" at the MINIcross in LA. 2011 MINIs were being thrashed right and left on Saturday. We asked the MINIUSA folks what happens to the MINIs that are driven cross country and used at the road rallies at MINI takes the States. They are crushed! Now that is just wrong. We suggested that they could be tethered to a merry-go-round and at least live out their lives making little kids happy.

We are going to try to make it. Would be nice to meet some other Mini people.
We have a big party back here in Paso at the local watering hole, Live Band food, ETC.
So we wont be able to stay long.

If any of you been to the downtown city park in Paso it is a great place for a "Meet". They do many car shows there. Maybe we could work on that and do a drive out to Hearst Castle or something.
